HI everyone! I am back! It's been quite awhile......I have missed my Zaadz(Gaia?) community!  After our big move in the fall we didn't have the net for quite awhile.....and then, right around Christmas, I somehow managed to come down with Menningitis...of all things! I was in the hospital for awhile and then recovery took quite awhile.....but I am back now and hoping to get back into the swing of things, touch base with some of my friends here, and dive back in with my DD crew.  Love ya all!!!!

p.s. what happened to Zaadz?

O.k. people! Help me out here!  I know I've been gone awhile......but what's going on?  I mean...whats the deal with this seed thing anyway? and a "gratitude" wall? I am thoroughly  confused!

  Well, we are finally all moved and our internet has been restored.....yay!  Although, we are still working on the getting settled part......half of our things are still in boxes in the garage, which we are slowly bringing up, when we have time, and unpacking.  This place is smaller than our old house and there isn't as much storage....so I've been having to let alot of things go that we just don't have room for. Not an easy task for me, as I am a classic pack-rat and I seem to attach sentimental value to just about everything.  I have been feeling a little home sick for my old house......I really loved that house and we lived there for quite awhile, but the neighborhood had deteriorated to the point that we were afraid to take the kids outside to play. In the couple of months before we moved we had a huge gang fight right in the street in front of us, complete with baseball bats, ect.  and then, one night, a guy tried to break into our house....it was just getting to be too much.  I did love that house though.....wish I could've just picked it up and plopped it down somewhere else.  On the up-side, our new place is right on the bay!  I have a beautiful view of the sun setting over the water everyday....which is awesome!  PLus......our neighbors here are wonderful!  Just about everyone in the neighborhood has come over at some point and welcomed us.  We are close to the college, also, and there is a great bike path/walking trail that goes thru the woods, along the bay, and then winds its way all around the campus and a nearby golf course.  I've already taken the kids biking on it several times...they love it!  
       I haven't done any writing since we started the move.....just haven't been able to find my 'creative groove' yet here....but I'm sure it'll happen eventually!  In the meantime, greetings and blessings to all my friends here!!! I am so glad to be back among you!!!

I still can't get my status thing to work....any ideas?

  Hmmmm....what to talk about? You would think, being a writer, that these blogs wouldn't be so hard for me....but when it comes to writing of a personal nature....I tend to clam up! Anyway..... 

  I would like to put a message on my new "status" thing....which I think is really neat, by the way....but it won't let me for some reason.  I really like the "shout outs" ...how much fun is that?!!!!! We're going to be moving soon....so You may not hear from me for awhile.  Depends on how long it takes them to connect us in the new house....and they do seem to take their own sweet time about it.  In the meantime, I have a ton of packing to do!!! We have way too much stuff! I guess this would be a good time to scale down a bit...get rid of what we don't need. A person can collect so much useless crap over a period of a time, without even trying to. I am so tired this morning. Couldn't sleep last night....my mind kept making up lists of everything that needs to be done! Couldn't shut it off! So, now I am sitting here groggy and dieing to go back to bed, but there's just too much to do!  Wish we could afford to hire those people who come and pack and move everything for you, but that's not gonna happen....so its just gonna be me and the hubby and whatever family members we can recruit to help us out! At least, it looks like the weather is going to cooperate.  Once we had to move in the pouring rain.....it rained for 3 days straight.  WE were soaked, everything we owned was soaked, the boxes kept falling apart...it was horrible to the point of being hilarious!  Well, I believe I've procastined long enough for now. I still have to pop over to Diving Deeper and see whats happening there!  I hope everyone has a wonderful week!!!!
